2019 List of “Better for Veterans” Organizations Identified Across the Country PITTSBURGH – Continuing its mission to provide veterans and their spouses with the finest choices for employment opportunities, VIQTORY today released the 2019 Military Friendly ® Employers list. Since 2003, the Military Friendly ® Employer list has come to set the standard for organizations to provide the best opportunities for veterans and their spouses. This prestigious list provides a comprehensive guide for veterans and their families using data sources through continuous improved methodology, criteria and weightings developed with help of an independent research firm, and proprietary survey information from participating organizations. Organizations earning the Military Friendly ® Employer designation were evaluated using both public and government data sources with responses from a comprehensive survey completed by the employer. We are proud to recognize 226 employers earning this prestigious designation and truly representing what it is to be “Better for Veterans.” The 2019 Military Friendly ® Employers list will be published in the December issue of G.I. Jobs magazine. The list can also be found at www.militaryfriendly.com. About Military Friendl ® Employers: The Military Friendly ® Employers list is created each year based on extensive research using public data sources for more than 8,800 employers nationwide, input from student veterans, and responses to the proprietary, data-driven Military Friendly ® Employers survey from participating institutions. The survey questions, methodology, criteria and weighting were developed with the assistance of an independent research firm and an advisory council of educators and employers. Ernst & Young, a global leader in assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services, independently evaluated the scoring methodology used for the Military Friendly ® Employers list using the criteria set forth by VIQTORY. The services performed by EY are limited to advisory procedures and do not provide assurance over the scoring methodology. The survey is administered for free and is open to all post-secondary employers that wish to participate. Criteria for consideration can be found at www.militaryfriendly.com.
